Winter 2021 graduation ceremonies

Our winter graduations will take place at Whitworth Hall from Monday, 13 December to Friday, 17 December 2021. These ceremonies are for students who complete their studies between 29 July and 1 December. To register to graduate, you must complete the steps on our preparing to graduate page.

We are monitoring the wider situation to assess what COVID-secure measures may be necessary to protect and support our graduating students, guests and staff. While we will do all that we can to make sure your ceremony goes ahead, we will also keep you updated if any wider COVID restrictions in the UK in December mean that we need to review whether these events can take place, in line with government guidelines.

Please note - there have been some amendments to ceremony times for a few programmes:

  • MA Art Gallery and Museum Studies and MA Heritage Studies will now be at 10am on Thursday 16 December
  • MA Egyptology will now be at 12pm on Thursday 16 December
  • All undergraduate and postgraduate research programmes in Mechanical, Aerospace and Civil Engineering will now be at 2pm on Wednesday 15 December
  • MSc Quantitative Finance has been moved from 2pm ceremony on 17 December to 10am ceremony on 17 December
  • MRes Management has been moved from 2pm ceremony on 17 December to 4pm ceremony on 17 December 
  • MSc in International Healthcare Leadership has been moved from 2pm ceremony on 17 December to 4pm ceremony on 17 December
