How to receive your certificate

If you choose to graduate in absentia or defer your ceremony you can either collect your certificate or have it posted to your home address. You must select which option you prefer via the online form by Wednesday 1st July 2020. If you defer your graduation ceremony you will not receive another certificate when you attend at a later date.

If you do not complete the online form by Wednesday 1st July 2020 specifying how you would like to receive your certificate, it will automatically be posted to your home address in campus solutions.

Collection

If you have selected via the online form by Wednesday 1st July 2020 that you wish to collect your certificate, your certificate will be available from the Student Services Centre from Monday 13 July. It is not possible to collect your certificate any earlier than this date.

You can also ask someone else to collect your certificate for you, if you email them your ID number and confirm in the email that you give them permission to collect it on your behalf.

Posted to home address

If you have chosen to have your certificate posted to your home address this will be posted after the ceremony period in July. If your certificate has not been received by 1st September 2020, please contact ssc@manchester.ac.uk. Please do not contact us about non-receipt of your certificate before this date.

If your certificate is not received at your home address then you have one year to inform us and request a replacement. After this you would be required to purchase a duplicate from our online Store.

Your home address must be correct on the Student System by Wednesday 1st July 2020. If your certificate is sent to an incorrect home address then we will not replace this and you would be required to purchase a duplicate, and the original certificate will be then be cancelled.  

You should also ensure you have an active email address (assigned to the category "home") and phone number (also marked as "home") assigned to your Student System account. These will be used to contact you if there are problems with the delivery.

Please Note: Global MBA students should contact their school directly to amend any personal details such as name or address before Wednesday 1st July 2020
