If you have any tuition fees owing to the University, you cannot attend the ceremony and your certificate and transcripts are withheld until the debt is settled. Take a look at the key dates page to see when all outstanding fees must be paid by.
Register your attendance or non-attendance via the instructions in your invitation email, sent to you once registration opens.
If you click on the link in your invitation email, it should take you to your Student Centre page.
On a desktop or laptop, the Graduation Attendance tile will appear on the first page of the Student Centre home screen. However, if you are using a mobile device with a smaller screen, the Graduation Attendance tile may appear on page 2. In this case, you will need to use the button in the top right-hand corner of the screen to switch to page 2 in order to view the required tile.

Please notify us as soon as possible. Email graduation@manchester.ac.uk with the subject line 'Remove my name from the official programme for July 2026'.
Yes, you are permitted to defer your graduation ceremony for up to 12 months. You need to record the deferral otherwise you will not be permitted to attend a future ceremony.
Log into the Student System, register to not attend and select the deferred option.
